Analog or Digital? We take the best of both worlds.

Digital signal processing is more powerful than ever thanks to modern floating point DSPs and personal computers with workstation power for a pocket money. Radikal uses floating point digital signal processing for the Spectralis oscillators and the fixed filterbank of the hybrid engine. But when it comes to saturation, distortion or feedback, analog circuitry is still the best weapon for rich and warm tone colors. Hybrid designs like the Spectralis combine the best of both worlds to overcome restrictions of pure digital or pure analog designs.
